Race Report | Donington | 2026

Team Oliver Racing delivered an unforgettable performance at Donington Park during Convoy in the Park – the biggest and most anticipated event on the British Truck Racing calendar. With huge crowds, an electric atmosphere, and a packed schedule of on-track action and off-track entertainment, the weekend truly celebrated the very best of trucking.

The weekend got off to the perfect start with a superb qualifying session. Stuart showcased incredible pace to secure pole position, putting Team Oliver Racing at the front of the grid. Michael also delivered a strong performance, placing P7 and setting himself up well for the races ahead.

Race One

Stuart converted pole into victory with a flawless drive. Launching cleanly off the line, he controlled the race from the front under constant pressure to take a well-earned win. Behind him, Michael battled hard in a competitive midfield. Despite tricky conditions with dust, limited grip, and penalties affecting the order, he drove consistently to secure an excellent P5 finish. A fantastic way to open the weekend.

Race Two

With the grid determined by second-fastest qualifying laps, Stuart lined up on the front row and Michael on row four. Both drivers pushed hard from lights out in a tightly contested race. Stuart held strong pace and composure to claim P3 and another podium finish. Michael continued his impressive form, fighting throughout to take P4. Another double top five result highlighted the team’s strength.

Race Three

Sunday began with a reverse grid, placing Stuart on row four and Michael on row two. Both drivers made excellent starts before an early red flag halted proceedings due to an on-track stoppage. On the restart, Michael delivered an outstanding performance, charging through the field with determination to take a brilliant race win. Stuart was running strongly but a small slip dropped him down the order, and he brought the truck home in P6. Another standout result for the team.

Race Four

Both drivers lined up side by side on row three for race four and made strong starts in a closely fought battle at the front. Unfortunately, contact in the pack caused a blowout for Stuart, forcing him into early retirement. Michael kept focused and fought hard to secure P5, adding more valuable points to the team’s tally.

Race Five

The final race of the weekend saw another reverse grid, with Stuart on row two and Michael on row four. A chaotic start into turn one led to a red flag. After a restart, a second incident brought out another stoppage, and the race was ultimately abandoned. Most importantly, all drivers involved were safe.

Across one of the most competitive and high-pressure weekends of the season, both Stuart and Michael demonstrated pace, consistency, and resilience in front of one of the largest crowds of the year.
