Saturday

Qualifying set the scene for an action-packed weekend, with Michael starting from row three, Stuart from row four, and Martin from row five.

Race One didn’t get off to the smoothest of starts when an opening-lap incident forced Martin into early retirement with significant front-end damage. After a red flag and restart, Michael and Stuart showcased their fighting spirit, Michael charging to a brilliant P3 podium, with Stuart right on his bumper in P4.

Thanks to a huge effort from the team in the paddock, Martin’s truck was repaired and back on track for Race Two. In tricky, damp conditions, all three TOR drivers fought hard. Michael recovered well from an early spin, Martin kept his composure despite an off-track moment, and Stuart delivered a superb final-lap move to grab P2 and a trip to the podium. Martin secured P5, with Michael finishing P8, rounding out a strong Saturday for the team.

Sunday

The action ramped up again in Race Three, the first of the reverse grid contests. Michael’s race was disrupted by contact and damage to the front of the truck, but he still battled to P9. Up front, Stuart and Martin gave the fans plenty to cheer about, fighting in a thrilling lead pack. Stuart clinched another excellent P2, with Martin taking P5.

In Race Four, Michael made a storming start from the front row and led the majority of the race, only for a mechanical issue on the very last lap to cruelly end his charge. Despite the heartbreak, it was a fantastic display of pace. Martin came home in P5, with Stuart just behind. Once again, the mechanics were called into action, working tirelessly to replace a blown turbo on Michael’s truck and ensure he could line up for the finale.

The weekend concluded with Race Five in extremely wet conditions. Michael made a lightning getaway to grab the early lead, while Stuart and Martin worked their way through the spray-filled pack. The race was brought to a premature end with the red flag shown with just minutes to go. Results were declared from the last full lap, which meant Michael secured the win, with Stuart in P5 and Martin in P8, a strong end to a challenging but rewarding round.

Thank You

Team Oliver Racing would like to thank our incredible mechanical team for their hard work throughout the weekend, ensuring all three trucks made it to the grid under testing circumstances. We’d also like to thank our fantastic fans for their support at the circuit and online, and of course our valued sponsors, without whom none of this would be possible.
