Team Oliver Racing kicked off the 2026 British Truck Racing Championship season in style at Brands Hatch, delivering an impressive weekend of pace, consistency and silverware across all five races.



Saturday began with a solid qualifying session, setting the tone for the races ahead. Michael Oliver secured a strong P4 on the grid, while Stuart Oliver lined up in P7, putting both drivers in a competitive position for the opening race of the season.



Race One saw a clean and competitive start, with Michael immediately making progress to move into P3. Demonstrating excellent race craft and defensive driving under pressure, he held firm to secure his first podium of the year. Stuart, meanwhile, was fully engaged in midfield battles, working his way through the pack to take a solidP6 finish. Unfortunately, a late red flag due to a stranded truck brought the race to an early conclusion, with results declared as they stood.



Race Two brought more drama, with an early red flag following an incident at Paddock Hill Bend forcing a full restart. When the race resumed, Michael produced another superb launch to climb to P2, while Stuart fought his waythrough the field to an impressive P5. A second red flag curtailed the race once again, but it was another double top-five result for the team, with Michael securing his second podium of the day.



Sunday’s action began with Race Three and a reverse grid that placed Stuart on the front row. He made full use of theopportunity, launching into the lead at the start and delivering a flawless, controlled drive to take his first victory ofthe season. Michael, starting further back, battled hard in a fiercely competitive midfield to secure a strong P5 finish.



Race Four followed a similar pattern, with another reverse grid placing Stuart in a prime position. He wasted no time in charging to the front and once again showed his class, controlling the race from the lead to claim his second win of the weekend. Michael fought hard in a tightly packed leading group, ultimately finishing P5 after a race that ended early due to a red flag following a virtual safety car period.



The final race of the weekend saw Michael start from the second row and Stuart from the fourth row. Michael made a brilliant start, staying with the leaders and showcasing strong pace and composure throughout. His efforts were rewarded with a fantastic P2 finish, securing his third podium of the weekend. Stuart rounded out the event with a determined drive to P6 after another competitive midfield battle. Overall, it was an outstanding opening round for Team Oliver Racing, highlighted by two race wins for Stuart Oliver and three podium finishes for Michael Oliver.



The final race of the weekend saw Michael start from the second row and Stuart from the fourth row. Michael made a brilliant start, staying with the leaders and showcasing strong pace and composure throughout. His efforts were rewarded with a fantastic P2 finish, securing his third podium of the weekend. Stuart rounded out the event with a determined drive to P6 after another competitive midfield battle. Overall, it was an outstanding opening round for Team Oliver Racing, highlighted by two race wins for Stuart Oliver and three podium finishes for Michael Oliver.



With consistent top-six finishes across all races and strong performances in every session, the team leaves Brands Hatch firmly in contention and full of confidence for the season ahead.
