Joining John will be Martin Gibson , who will be making his return to truck racing. He finished off achieving third overall in the Championship in his final season in 2021. He took a break to concentrate on other types of racing and has since competed in the FunCup Championship and the Rallye Breslau in Poland.

Martin is also the European Test Manager for Giti Tire and heads up their UK Research and Development centre based at MIRA, NunEaton. He is has been heavily involved in the development of the Giti Tire Race-Tuned v1 which is the official tyre to the teams of the BTRC.

“ To be involved in the International Truck Prix as it makes its debut at Donington is a fantastic opportunity! It’s good to be back racing with Team Oliver again and back behind the wheel of my former truck too! Hopefully I pick up where I left off as a return trip to the podium would be nice! “ Martin Gibson

Both drivers will be a fantastic addition to the team! We are extremely excited to welcome them and see them both on the track !
